In the world of tech, theoretical and real-world results rarely meet. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is set to redefine gaming on all Android devices as the first Playstation certified handset. As an Xperia Play skeptic, this video demo of Angry Mobs Games smash hit, Guerrilla Bob, certainly has me questioning my position.There’s little doubt the overall impact of the Playstation Suite on Android gaming will overshadow much of the success of the Xperia Play. Android wins by numbers, we all know this. Bringing a new platform of gaming to all Android handsets is a sure-fire way to up the ante for mobile gaming. With that being said, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is the perfect PSP hybrid.In this video demo (shown above), we begin to get a sense of how well the controls will work on the Xperia Play. The gaming is smooth, graphics look top-notch and a distinct advantage in having PSP hardware buttons becomes clear.
